If it's hidden somewhere nearby - e.g. under the sofa or in the room next door - just follow the sound to find it again.
Getting warm If your AirTag is nearby, your iPhone can take you directly to it with Precise Search. With Ultra Wideband technology, you can see both how far away your AirTag is and in which direction you should go.
