How it works Gemstone is an autonomous tracking device, designed for ease and reliability. Simply set your preferences, such as a 24-hour reporting interval, and it operates independently, sending positions as scheduled without further prompts. Once programmed, Gemstone consistently follows your schedule, ensuring regular updates without additional commands. It strictly adheres to the set intervals. If set for 24-hour updates, it remains off between transmissions, optimizing battery life. Changes in settings take effect during the next scheduled transmission, ensuring smooth transitions without manual intervention. Gemstone offers a convenient, ‘set and forget’ tracking experience, ideal for users who value simplicity and consistent performance. Activation Activating Gemstone is quick and easy, taking less than a minute. Just scan the QR code existing on the device and select a standard profile for your tracker. You also have the option to quickly activate the tracker via Bluetooth. After either method, just give the unit a quick shake for 10 seconds, and it is all set to go! Profiles and settings Gemstone comes with 5 different standard tracking profiles: • Emergency The unit sends a position every 10 minutes • Live The unit sends a position when it starts moving, every 15 minutes while moving and 15 minutes after latest movement. It also sends a position once a week • Parking The unit sends a position 1 hour after latest movement. It also sends a position once a week • Weekly The unit sends a position once every week • Daily The unit sends a position once every day The unit is also equipped with dynamic firmware, allowing for the integration of customized profiles.
